Annatjie van Rooyen
Key Individual & CEO of MyWealth InvestmentsAnnatjie van Rooyen, BCom (Hons), Membership exams of the SA Institute of Stockbrokers and Safex. Annatjie has more than 20 years of investment experience and was previously a director of Standard Equities and Head of Dealing at BoE Stockbrokers. Annatjie also managed the BoE Alpha Fund, a long/short equity fund that was nominated in 2007 in the category of Top New Funds. Annatjie is currently the CEO of MyWealth Investments.
Annabel Bishop
Chief Economist, Investec Bank Limited South AfricaAnnabel Bishop joined Investec in 2001 and is the Chief Economist. She has worked in the macroeconomic, econometric, risk, financial markets, political risk, public finance and regulatory, among other, fields for around 25 years. Annabel is the holder of the Sake/Beeld Economist of the Year award for 2010 and has won numerous monthly Reuters EconometerI awards, and various Focus Economics (Economic Forecasts from the World’s Leading Economists) categories for correctly forecasting a range of economic variables. She has authored a wide range of in-house and external articles, published both abroad and in South Africa. She has also guest lectured at Gibbs, the University of Pretoria, Wits, UJ and other academic institutions, and has presented at various national and international conferences. Author of the “Financial Services sector and its support to the economy section in the Better Choices Ensuring SA’s Future.
Kearabilwe Nonyana
Head of Global Markets and Structured Products at EA CapitalAfter graduating, Kearabilwe began his career at JP Morgan on the Equity derivatives trading desk as an Equity derivatives sales trader. Kearabilwe Joined IG Markets South Africa as an Equity and Derivatives sales trader where he was exposed to global Derivatives markets and excelled as a stock picker and investment idea generator. He later joined ThinkMarkets South Africa as Manager of Equity and Derivative sales trading and also was the Head of Equity research fulfilling both functions concurrently. He then Joined EA Capital and led the global markets function across multi asset sales and trading.
Nick Kunze
Senior Portfolio Manager at Sanlam Private WealthNick began his 22 year trading career in London, during which time he worked with leading institutions such as Goldman Sachs and Nordic Options as their Head Index Option Trader. He was responsible for creating and trading several successful arbitrage and propriety-trading strategies in US and European equities, specialising in volatility and statistical arbitrage. Upon Nick’s return to South Africa, he worked with top financial houses such as Nedbank Capital as their Head of CFD Sales and Trading, and FNB Securities as their Head of Trading. Nick is a qualified trader with the JSE, International Securities Exchange, Eurex and the European Derivatives Exchange, and holds a certificate in Securities and Derivatives issued by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment from the City of London. He is currently a Snr Portfolio Manager at Sanlam Private Wealth in Johannesburg.
